Born in Zurich, I’m a global citizen, business journalist and music lover. Growing up with a brother who was a local radio DJ, I got the opportunity to interview hip hop legends for his show such as Guru (RIP) from Gangstarr or Ali Shaheed of A Tribe Called Quest.
That’s how my career as a media personality started and my passion for the old and new school was born. Fast forward 20 years, it’s never too late to start something new. In 2023 I took a weekend course at Point Blank Music School in London with my mentor DJ Shorty which ignited my love for the artform.
Besides DJ-ing as a hobby, I work as a business correspondent for China’s news agency Xinhua, consultant for the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), and advisor for the world’s leading cross-generational student initiative the St. Gallen Symposium.
I’m also a board member of the Montreux Jazz Festival China, advisor for the Lang Lang International Music Foundation, and brand ambassador for Switzerland’s premium chocolate retailer Läderach.
Based in London and Zurich, I speak 9 languages including Arabic and Chinese, and thanks to my DJ pastime, now also the universal language of music.
